The helmets safety standards 2018

The best motorcycle helmets 2018 have to be approved by safety standards.

They’re 3 main standards:

DOT Helmet Standards:

DOT stands for Department of Transportation. The DOT made a standard called FMVSS 218 (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards 218). This standard is applicable for all the helmet sold and used in the U.S

ECE Helmet Standards:

ECE stands for Economic Commission for Europe. The E.C.E standard used for helmets can also be called E.C.E 22.05. The “22.05” refers to the safety control regulations.

Snell Helmet Standards:

The Snell Memorial Foundation an organization founded in 1957. It’s a private non-profit organization focused on helmet safety standards.
